During the preparation of the Deep Green Inno project, University of Ruse "Angel Kanchev" scored highest in entrepreneurial teaching and learning self-evaluation. We are proud of this partner and the team leader prof dr Maria Nikolova, who is narrowly specialized in coating 🎨 technologies.
The second student training workshop was held at our partner University "UNION NIKOLA TESLA" premises in Belgrade. It targeted students of environmental 🌼 protection and entrepreneurial business, achieving one of the most important KPIs of Deep Green Inno project.
Research administrators are the driving force behind the success of us researchers. We were invited speakers at the opening conference of the V4+WB RMA Network Plus project coordinated by HÉTFA Group, and held in Bratislava this week.
Coordination of the Deep Green Inno project by Bosnia and Herzegovina in particular has very much to do with incredible mining history of this country, which has a continuation for centuries and was never abandoned. One of the guardians of this tradition is also "Kreševski Citrin" an association of professional and amateur geologists from this city. They held their 20th mineral fair this weekend and the Faculty of Sciences, University of Banja Luka project team saw this as an exciting networking opportunity and gave their contribution to the event.
Next week, we will be presenting our EIT HEI Deep Green Inno success story from a slightly different angle that takes the #researchsupport office into an account, as part of the agenda of the V4+WB RMA Network Plus launching conference in Bratislava. We will talk on "Deep tech in Higher Education:
As part of the EIT HEI Deep Green Inno project, students of entrepreneurship and business, economics and environmental protection at Univerzitet Union - Nikola Tesla in Belgrade attended the first national training event where they were introduced to the principles of #greenbusiness and the application of #innovative technologies 🚦 .
As part of the national-level training within the Deep Green Inno project, our Albanian partners held their first workshop addressing the challenges of green 🌿 infrastructure in the context of Tirana, exploring alternative solutions and entrepreneurial capabilities in the industry. Under the guidance of architects Klodian Xhexhi and Julian Beqiri, the workshop enabled the students of Polis University to understand and confront the energy issues of transportation 🚇 for a green Tirana, where they gained an overview of the financial sustainability of PV panels and turbine wind solutions, and what gaps the current energy market contains for the introduction of new business models through innovations in current tech solutions.
What a better way to finish the conference, but to learn more about science and technology promotion merged with entrepreneurship at the Science Technology Park Belgrade - Naučno-tehnološki park Beograd. Many thanks to our hosts and partners, Prof Sanja Mrazovac Kurilić and her team from University "UNION NIKOLA TESLA" for excellent organization.
Great variety of material subjects and so many interconnections of our key words "deep tech" + "green" + "innovations" + "Balkans" + "entrepreneurship". We heard about diversity of raw materials in Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, about how these could be applied in modern materials sciences especially nanotechnologies
