Here we continue our "column" on most recent training held in last week of our first phase in Deep Green Inno project. Bulgarian colleagues had their own way on how to merge stories on material sciences+deep tech+entrepreneurship to their student population 👨🔬 👩🔬 .
Last few weeks, our partners in Deep Green Inno project experimented with best ways on how to promote entrepreneurship to the students of their departments oriented to technical and/or natural sciences 🍀 🛠 .
Last month Deep Green Inno have seen number of activities of our young experts educated through the COST Association - European Cooperation in Science and Technology. Namely, this oldest EU funding scheme for science 🔬 and technology is solely focused on networking and education. Our young experts participate in the COST action on acrylamide subject ACRYRED (CA21149) ⛔ and have got a strong background in this compound problematic.
What an honour, our precious colleague, Dr Matteo Guidotti from the CNR team, held a talk a the 28th Session of the Conference of the States Parties. He is one of the members of the Scientific Advisory Board in Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), which is highly prestigious role.
IUS team in Deep Green Inno shared two significant developments in the partnership with AD HARBI d.o.o., a company focused on Bosnian natural mineral research. Collaborative efforts fit perfectly within the DeepGreenInno project
One of the main components of Deep Green Inno project is students' understanding of need for "greenification" 🌳 of the already existing large industries. That, most of the time is not possible without deep tech. Students from Faculty of Sciences, University of Banja Luka had their final training in the first phase of our project, in the premises of two Bosnian industrial giants 🏭 🏭 doing exactly that.
Our team from University of Ruse "Angel Kanchev" (prof Maria Nikolova and prof Daniel Pavlov) visited two innovative enterprises 🏭 +🏭 to confirm their support for Deep Green Inno project KPIs. Both of the companies are located in the city of Kazanlak which is famous not only for its Valley of Roses 🌹 , but also as the flourishing industrial environment recently.
Our final workshop in the first phase of Deep Green Inno project is successfully completed 🎶 ! Thanks to the incredible host teams of IUS for the flawless organisation and all the additional educational contents they provided. Italian CNR SCITEC 'Giulio Natta' team, along with Innovation Greece, University of Ruse "Angel Kanchev", University "UNION NIKOLA TESLA" and Faculty of Sciences, University of Banja Luka teams were there all sharing their innovative research with students of IUS.
