SYNERGY OF SCIENCE, BUSINESS AND ART GREEN BUSINESS PLAN COMPETITION AT IUS
One more meaningful and inspirational deliverable behind us: Faculty of Business and Administration at the International University of Sarajevo hosted the Deep Green Inno Green Business Plan Competition.
Azra Bičo, Ph.D. opened the event, welcomed participants, introduced them to the project aims and outputs, and explained the competition rules, which was followed by competing presentations.
A five-member jury composed of Dr. Šejma Aydin, Dr. Emir Hambo, Ph.D, Dr. Nerma Omicevic, Dr. Jasmin Šutković, PhDć, and Deniz Durmus, MSc had a challenging task of evaluating 12 business ideas by 22 students in two stages: written plans and presentations. Ultimately, the jury decided to award the top three business projects (alphabetically ordered: Clean Drop by Siradža Laletović, Lamija Tanović, and Nejra Hodžić; Dara Engineering by Damir Hanić and Amra Maglajčetović; and Recreate by Selma Krivokapa), while special award went to the best high-school project (Glass Revive Factory by Eva Kuruzović and Lidija Volf).
Besides the competition, participants had a unique opportunity to network with each other but also with the jury and organizers. Deep Green Inno project continues to emphasize the importance of going green through a multi-disciplinary approach.
