SARAJEVO IUS TEAM SEALING THE INDUSTRIAL COLLABORATIONS: MINERAL RESEARCH COMPANY

Admin

IUS team in Deep Green Inno shared two significant developments in the partnership with AD HARBI d.o.o., a company focused on Bosnian natural mineral research. Collaborative efforts fit perfectly within the DeepGreenInno project, enhancing both academic excellence and supporting the company in sustainable technological advancements. First, in September 2023 , IUS and AD HARBI d.o.o. officially solidified their commitment to collaborative innovation by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). In recent days, building upon the momentum of initial agreement, the signing of an additional scale-up confirmation was also verified. Most famously, AD HARBI d.o.o. is doing its research on the pyrophyllite deposit in Parsovići village in Konjic municipality, largest one in the world (cca. 38 million tonnes, located at https://lnkd.in/dAx654ei ). This is a less known, yet great "cousin" mineral to talk, valuable for numerous technologies such as ceramics, paper but if safe, also has potential in medical applications. This new phase of collaboration will actively involve IUS students in the intricate processes of water purification. Not only will students play a pivotal role in scaling up these processes in collaboration with AD HARBI d.o.o., but the initiative also aligns with the stringent regulations and directives set forth by the European Union. The integration of IUS students into the scale-up processes for water purification reflects our shared commitment to addressing critical environmental challenges.

Deep Green Inno consortium is looking forward to the mutual growth and success that will undoubtedly result from these strategic partnerships of our teams with industry.
