OLD SPACE-NEW CREATIVITY BOOST IN RUSE: DESIGNING THE RESEARCH AND TRAINING CENTRE

Admin

Under the Deep Green Inno project a “Research and Training Centre” in the Department of Material Science and Technologies at the University of Ruse "Angel Kanchev" was established. The University participation in the project was a key factor in the setting up of a comfortable and modern teaching and research hub which enriched the scope and strategies of student learning. Deep Green Inno project co-financed a 🔬 reflector module, C-DIC, C-DIC slider, and software package 💿 . The microscope itself was funded by the Bulgarian National Science Fund, grant number KП-06-H67-5 entitled"New biofunctional Cu-containing TiO2 coatings obtained by electrophysical methods to meet modern implantology needs“. This synergy 🎭 created in a small but very functional laboratory which will become part of the core of the Department and coexist with other types of teaching and research laboratories in the University.

Here we report the first images taken by their team leader prof.dr Maria Nikolova, during the training of non-academic staff for future support 🤝 in demonstrations at this important equipment and look forward to the further designing of this space into highly frequented learning hub at our partner University of Ruse "Angel Kanchev" premises.
