It was very lively again at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Banja Luka, our coordinating team's premises. The Rector of University, prof.dr Radoslav Gajanin visited as he wanted to celebrate the opening of a new structure 🏗 set through the Deep Green Inno project. The space was set up in November and is informally called "Training Centre for Material Innovations". It is already used with lots of enthusiasm both by our teams, young academic staff and even the Student organisation. Physically it represented the renovation of the almost 100 years old classroom from scratches. The Faculty building is under the state protection as the cultural/architectural heritage💎, so all the work had to be done carefully not to disturb the basic structure. The result is an incredible, refreshing space which can be rearranged in different styles for education activities, primarily for the remaining goals of the Deep Green Inno project, but it is there to stay !!! Innovation and entrepreneurship education on the long run can be performed in this new infrastructural unit and its next 100 years just kicked off ⚽ !
Young researcher 👩🎓 , employed at the project, Marija Stojaković was privileged to stick the logos and thank you notes to EIT Manufacturing and EIT RawMaterials. At the same time, we celebrate another young researcher 👩🎓 Sunčica Sukur departure to do her PhD at Palacký University in Olomouc. She not only worked tirelessly on the project for the last incredible 7 months but was actually the one who clicked the "send" button for our proposal in February with the Coordinator! Indeed, it is all about these young researchers finding their path to contribute to Europan's development.
